Maria Barabash, Director of LIRA CAD, Doctor of Technical Sciences, Professor, presented interesting cases on how users use the multifunctional software complex “LIRA-project” for “LIRA-project” building and machine-building structures for various purposes. She noted that the company is happy to observe what facilities are built with the support of its decisions, and even encourages to share their practical experience. During her speech, Ms. Maria illustrated the operation of the visual programming system in the PC "LIRA-CAD", which allows users to perform parametric modeling of buildings and structures of any shape. In the presentation, she noted that this system is a representative of a new generation of technologies for creating models of structures and is a graphical editor of algorithms (sequence of actions).
Among the important ones, Maria Barabash said that today interoperability is not only an important component of BIM technology, but also a persistent market demand. This encourages the interoperable information system "LIRA-CAD" to further develop the functionality of integration. She reminded of the large number of converters implemented. In particular, communication with Revit, Tekla, ARCHICAD, AutoCad, Allplan, BoCAD, MIDAS, Rhinoceros / Grasshopper and other architectural, calculation, graphics and documentation systems. USA.

The world's largest industrial park with an area of ??43 thousand hectares was built in the USA. This is the Tahoe-Reno Industrial Center (TRIC). Tesla and Panasonic have built Gigafactory 1, the largest lithium-ion battery plant in it, in which they have invested about $ 5 billion. Other residents of the park include companies such as Google, Wal-Mart and Switch.

TRIC operates as a public-private partnership in which private owners have built the necessary infrastructure. At the same time, these infrastructure costs will be reimbursed by local authorities.

BELARUS.

In Belarus, manufacturers in industrial parks can be exempted for ten years from corporate tax, property tax and land tax. For the next ten years, half the rate of these taxes is applied. Other incentives include exemption from import VAT and duties on equipment and components, a preferential rate on personal income tax (employees), social security benefits and exemption from the mandatory sale of foreign currency earnings.

Belarus in 2006. Created the High-Tech Park (HTP) innovation park. This park is conceived as a virtual one, so IT companies registered in any locality of Belarus can become its residents. In addition, the park also has a physical cluster with a business incubator and the necessary infrastructure to operate in Minsk.

HTP residents can be exempt from all corporate taxes, including value added tax, income tax, and customs duties. Individual income tax for employees of companies - residents of the park has a flat rate.

There are cases when preferential housing programs are offered for employees of companies that are HTP residents to prevent the outflow of personnel abroad: full or partial compensation for rental housing, construction of new housing on preferential terms, including mortgages.

POLAND.

In Poland, on the territory of more than 14 special economic zones (SEZ), there are more than 76 industrial and technological parks. The corresponding legislation regulating the activities of such zones was developed back in 1994. The first special economic zone in Poland was established in 1995. (Mielec SEZ). The prerequisites for its creation were: unemployment in the region at the level of 20% and a surplus of production assets of the reorganized company PZL Mielec. Already in 2001, this made it possible to create more than 5.6 thousand jobs. All other Polish FEZs were founded in the second half of the 1990s, which resulted in the country's real GDP growing by 50% over the next 10 years, and exports almost tripling.

In Poland, manufacturers in industrial parks located in FEZs can receive exemption from corporate tax or personal income tax, partial exemption from property tax. In addition, in Poland there may be support for the creation of new jobs - the size depends on the project and can reach 15.6 thousand zloty (4 thousand US dollars) per job. It also supports training programs aimed at improving the qualifications of personnel - the maximum amount of compensation can reach 70%.

CZECH REPUBLIC.

The Czech Republic introduced a state program for the development of industrial parks in 1998. Within 7 years, about a hundred industrial parks were created, investors have invested more than 9 billion euros in new production, created more than 70 thousand jobs.

In the Czech Republic, manufacturers in industrial parks under various programs can receive exemption from corporate tax for up to 10 years and 5 years of exemption from property tax.

In addition, the state can provide grants of up to CZK 300 thousand (USD 12 thousand) for the creation of a new workplace in the industrial park.

TURKEY.

In 2002-2016. In Turkey, 284 industrial parks or so-called organized industrial zones have been established. During this period, industrial parks were created and operate in almost all regions of the country with different levels of economic development and are considered by investors as one of the most attractive for investment among other countries in the Middle East.

Industrial parks have become an important tool for attracting foreign direct investment (FDI) to Turkey. For the period 1995-2017. More than 80% of FDI in the country was concentrated in them. These parks are often set up around ports, airports, railways and other transport hubs to reduce transport costs. Often the creation of industrial parks is carried out within the framework of economic development programs, and certain benefits are provided to enterprises in them.

The first industrial parks were created in Western Europe and the USA in the late 19th - early 20th centuries.

Despite more than 100 years of history, industrial parks are useful in the modern world as a tool for economic development.

More than 15 thousand industrial parks function in the world. They became a factor in the accelerated economic development of Western Europe and the USA 50-100 years ago, Asian countries 30-50 years ago, Eastern European countries and other successful countries such as Turkey 10-20 years ago.

In Ukraine, the development of industrial parks began only in 2012. The start was given by the bill "On industrial parks". On the part of the state, the Ministry of Economy is responsible for industrial parks. And the situation is critical. Imagine, in 2015, not a single industrial park in Ukraine was included in the Register of industrial (industrial) parks. And as of 05/01/2020, only one industrial park is included in the Register.

Ukraine has a huge potential for enhancing industrial development through the mechanism of industrial parks. So we can change for the better the key macroeconomic indicators: GDP, investment, employment, income, output, product exports, and the like. Therefore, they adopt the experience of the advanced countries of Europe, America and Asia. We will talk about them in detail in the next thematic publication.

Industrial business tourism is not a classic tourism destination that we are used to. This is the search and research of construction sites, factories, plants, industrial facilities, exchange of experience and opportunities.

The Wall Ukraine has declared this direction of support for its residents before. Now, as part of the development strategy of the association, we have successfully improved it, taking into account the conditions of coronacrisis.

Now we are pleased to announce that, together with our Chinese partners, we have collected the most interesting places for an industrial tour in Beijing, which is planned after the quarantine eases and the situation stabilizes.

Within the framework of business tours from The Wall Ukraine, visitors are shown several objects. The guides are the local workers themselves with knowledge of the language, who have the necessary professional level and knowledge to fully tell the guests about production technologies and their specifics.

Those who enter the leading Chinese enterprises for the first time will be able to get an exciting experience of how things actually work there. We know from our own experience that the automation of construction production, the scale of their projects, the introduction of a new level of technology captures from the first seconds of stay at Chinese facilities. Residents who were lucky enough to be with us on an industrial tour, at least a month after the trip, had a number of topics for discussion with their development directors, technologists, designers, logisticians and other specialists of the company.

Although Ukraine is just beginning its active path and the development of industrial tourism, this type of business activity, in particular from the residents of The Wall Ukraine, is gaining popularity.

What objects and in which countries would you like to visit?

• During the testing of the e-procurement platform, which had the working name Good Contracting, purchases worth almost UAH 10 million were made. About 500 proven suppliers of construction materials have been added to the system.
• The platform was created to implement in Ukraine the regulation of the management of the cost of construction projects. The main advantage of the platform is that it is a digital duplicate of real business processes, which are currently operated by leading developers and construction companies at the stage of contracting and construction.
• The statistical module of the platform will allow to use up-to-date digital data on the cost of materials and works at all stages of project development.
• Based on the positive evaluations of testing the platform and the proposals of our residents, we intend to give it a vital name - RATE.UA. What's your name?
